By Upgrade Verdict Editorial · Published September 1, 2026 · Reviewed September 2, 2026
A practical entry into premium sauna ownership when you want a compact room, familiar traditional heat, and a more manageable installation plan.
Confirm the heater package, circuit requirements, ventilation, and whether the room can be assembled through your delivery path.
This preliminary verdict uses manufacturer information, published policies, ownership requirements, and category comparison. It is not labeled as hands-on tested.
What we found
The Auburn is an indoor traditional sauna aimed at buyers who want a recognizable sauna experience in a relatively manageable room. Its two-to-three-person claim is realistic as a space classification, but couples will have the most comfortable everyday fit. The full-glass-and-window presentation keeps it from feeling boxed in, while the hard-wired heater and room dimensions still require real planning.
Strengths
- Traditional heat in a prebuilt indoor-room format
- Compact enough for many basements, gyms, or larger bathrooms
- Open glass design reduces the closed-in feeling
Tradeoffs
- Not a plug-in appliance; professional electrical work is part of the purchase
- Three adults may feel crowded
- Delivery path and assembly clearance must be measured before ordering
Who should buy it
Buy it if two people want a traditional indoor sauna and you have a prepared room, dedicated circuit, and a clear assembly path.
Who should skip it
Skip it if you need outdoor weather exposure, household-size seating, or a sauna that can run from a standard outlet.
What ownership really requires
Confirm the heater package, circuit requirements, ventilation, and whether the room can be assembled through your delivery path.
